The steel longhouse façade of the Skwachàys Hotel is a unique and beautiful expression depicting history and progressiveness. The Skwachàys houses a fair trade gallery, boutique hotel and an urban Aboriginal artist residence. The boutique hotel and gallery profits are used to subsidize a number of apartments and a workspace for at risk native artists.
